Well, I'm six months old now. I had my 6 month checkup and I weigh 15 lbs and I am almost 25 inches long. These are both at the 50th percentile. Dad says that means I am PERFECT!
I haven't been keeping you posted, what with my busy summer schedule. I have had some fantastic times! I celebrated Father's Day by relaxing with the best dad ever. I also tried out my new bathing suit for as short time. I love to splash! I am spending lots of time sitting up all by myself, and standing with a little help. I reach out and take whatever looks good to me. I put everything in my mouth. I eat all kinds of veggies and rice cereal, but I am just getting started on fruits. No bananas for another 3 months for this girl...every time I eat them I get red streaks on my head. I spend loads of time rolling over and over and over and playing on my tummy. I can scoot around on the floor a bit, but don't get too far without frustration. I babble and growl and sometimes cough and yell just for attention! I love playing with my friends at daycare, they can sure make me laugh! Mom and daddy and my grandparents are pretty darn funny too! Some say I'm a bit of a flirt just because I like to smile.
My Uncle Ryan married Aunt Amy a few days ago. I am really excited to have her in the family. She's fun! And thanks to the celebration I got to hang out with Uncle Dan and Aunt Jen, and spend some quality time with Gma and Gpa Jackson while my parents boogied down at the dance! We'll have to post some pictures of that fiesta at a later date!
See below for the wonderful pictures mom's cousin Sarah took of me to celebrate my half birthday! The weather wasn't cooperating, otherwise we would have had lots more outside in the summer sun. Mom's just pretty excited about these pics and looks at them all the time!
